Welcome

Center of Hope Counseling

About

Center of Hope Counseling is here to help you discover a new path to hope one session at a time. Maybe what you have been doing is no longer working, or no one seems to understand and you don't know where to start. I understand and you've come to the right place for help! My goal is to provide a compassionate, confidential, non-judgemental space to empower you to confront and overcome life challenges and create lasting change that you can be proud of.

I provide individual and family counseling using different types of evidenced-based treatments to promote the healing process. Current rates include $110 for 55 minute individual therapy sessions and $125 for 55 minute family sessions. If you have insurance with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and UHC, ask me about Headway! For private pay, I accept major credit cards and cash app for payment due at the time of the session. I value the time spent with all clients, therefore if an appointment is missed or not canceled without a minimum of 24 hours notice, there will be a charge of $55.

Camille Matthews, LCSW-S

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients and families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I founded Center of Hope Counseling because I enjoy helping people rediscover their internal strengths despite the difficulties they're facing. I work with people everyday to discover their potential in pain in order to create change. I began this journey while earning my Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas and later received my Masters degree in Social Work from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I attribute my passion for helping others to a divine calling and I continuously work to enhance my knowledge base to provide increased support and service to others.

Feelings of being understood, listened to, and being free to be yourself are important factors in building a therapeutic relationship, all of which you will experience working with me. Are you or a loved one suffering from increased sadness, loneliness, have difficulty coping, loss of purpose, or other feelings of discomfort/uncertainty? I am here for you. Are you a therapist or mental health professional experiencing burnout, career uncertainty, compassion fatigue, or stress? I am here for you and I want to help you explore current circumstances or past situations that have brought you to therapy.

My personal and professional experience have provided opportunities to serve men, women, adolescents and families in an array of settings; therefore I understand how difficult it can be to ask for and find reliable and affordable help. If you've tried therapy before and weren't satisfied or if this is your first time seeking help, understand that it's normal to have doubts or concerns about therapy. I understand and will support you, help you to process those thoughts and feelings, and work with you to identify your specific goals for treatment.

Oprah Winfrey says that everyone needs a 'kitchen cabinet' of people you trust, that care about you, and are always rooting for your rise. I truly believe that the key to finding hope is in having the right people, like your therapist, in your 'kitchen cabinet' to help you take back your power over circumstances and achieve internal wellbeing.
